Database Reactivation
By Sarah Ovington, Grassroots Media
Database reactivation means reconnecting with people who already know your business: past customers, old quotes and leads that never booked. We reach out by text, reply to the ones who answer and book them into appointments. More sales from people who already know you, without more ads or extra staff.
Who is it for?
Established local and home-service businesses with years of past customers. That includes home and outdoor living, the trades and retail showrooms.
Who do we contact?
- Past customers who bought from you and haven't heard from you in a while
- Old quotes from people who asked for a price and went quiet
- Leads that never booked after they first got in touch
Consent comes first
We only contact people with valid consent under Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). Every message says who it's from and has a clear way to opt out. If a contact doesn't have valid consent, we don't message them. We go through how this applies to your list on the call.
How it works
- We look at your list. Past customers, old quotes and leads that never booked, from your CRM, quoting software or a spreadsheet.
- We check consent. Only contacts with valid consent move forward.
- We reconnect by text. Short, friendly texts in your business name. Replies get an answer quickly, and anyone who opts out is removed.
- They book with you. Interested people go straight onto your calendar. You show up to appointments.
What does it cost?
I only get paid on the sales I help bring in. How results are measured and when I'm paid is covered on the call and written into our agreement.
How do you know what it brought in?
Every reply and booked appointment is logged, so we both see the number.
What else do you offer?
Reactivation comes first. Supporting it are speed to lead with an AI receptionist, follow-up automation, Facebook ads and conversion rate optimization. See the supporting services.
